This is an entry level position and a great opportunity for someone looking to take their first step in the AV industry. The role offers on the job training with the prospect of further external courses and career progression.

A mechanically minded person with an interest in assembling electrical and/or mechanical gadgets would find this role ideal.

Installations Engineer

We have an opportunity for an experienced AV installer with electrical or cabling background to fill permanent position. 

The role is based in our St. Margarets office with ad-hoc nationwide and international travel based on our clients needs.

Duties will include the installation of a range of AV products, including Video Conferencing and Crestron & AMX control systems. Working closely with the Project Managers and the Installations team. The role involves liaising with clients for feedback on installation and report back to the Head of Installation.

It is essential to have good technical knowledge of AV and VC equipment, good customer service skills, be a team player and have a valid driver’s licence.

Field Service Engineer

AV Field Service Engineer to provide preventative maintenance and reactive servicing of audio visual and videoconferencing systems for corporate clients. Clients are usually based in the city, but travel throughout the UK and Europe would be required.

As the ideal candidate, you will have an enthusiastic and organised approach to your work. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team as well as on your own.

2 to 4 years experience of Corporate AV systems, and will be competent in at least two of the following:
- AMX programming and/or systems install knowledge
- Crestron programming and/or systems install knowledge
- Audio Conference equip - MultiMic system controllers such as Clearone or Vortex
- Video Conference equip - Polycom or Tandberg or Sony, - ISDN and IP based systems
- Plasmas, LCD projectors - Installation of, with RGBHV, Component Video, Composite &

  YC Video signals
- Some experience of System Wide fault finding, in customers premises, under

  time pressures and whilst meeting client expectations
- A good understanding of Control systems
- Audio environments, Audio and Video Signal systems
- General TV/Satellite RF and Video + Audio Installation & Maintenance

The ideal candidate will have InfoComm CTS certification.
